Description
My name is Silpa K, and I am a female carer with a passion for helping and caring for others. With over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry, I have had the privilege of providing care to individuals with a range of conditions including Mild Cognitive Impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, depression, people with long-term illnesses, mental health outpatients as well as young and old with learning disabilities. I am well-versed in various care types, including live-in, hourly, sleep-in, and overnight care.
I do currently have a car, I am a confident and experienced driver, equipped with a valid driver's license. My skills as a carer extend beyond the necessities of bathing, toileting, and dressing. I am also experienced in providing catheter care, stoma care, peg feeding and offering companionship to those in need. I believe that companionship is an integral part of care, and I am committed to building genuine relationships with my clients.
In my free time, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies, which include dancing, cooking, and baking, reading, watching TV, and listening to music. These activities not only bring joy into my life but also allow me to relax and unwind, ensuring I am refreshed and ready to provide quality care to my clients.
Additionally, I tolerate pets, particularly cats and dogs. Their presence brings happiness and comfort to both the clients and me. I am eager to engage with any furry companions that may be part of a client's household.
Caring is not just a job for me; it is a calling. My motivation stems from a desire to help people lead independent lives in the comfort of their own homes. Being able to make a difference in someone's life gives me a deep sense of fulfilment. I am known for my caring nature, friendly demeanour, and notable helpfulness.
